Research, Advocacy and Policy Officer
Giang is from a Vietnamese migrant background. She has a PhD in Sociology. Before joining MCWH, she has had over ten years’ international experience as a researcher and lecturer in universities. This included undertaking research projects regarding migration, gender, and social science. Giang is passionate about migrant and refugee women’s health issues and works to increase migrant and refugee women’s opportunities for health and wellbeing. Since joining MCWH in 2020, she has been involved in research projects, policy and advocacy work on migrant and refugee women’s mental health and sexual and reproductive health.
