Arundhathi joined MCWH in 2023 as Communications Officer and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Laws with Honours. After graduation, Arundhathi spent several years volunteering in the community legal sector in the areas of family law, sexual violence redress programs and health justice partnerships. Through these experiences, Arundhathi became interested in prevention and public health, working for three years with Australia’s gender equity peak body to deliver high level policy and advocacy communications. Arundhathi is interested in political economy, and the part that migrant and refugee women play in Australia’s health and caring economies. In her spare time, Arundhathi likes to swim, sing karaoke, and dote on her cat. Arundhathi speaks English and is learning spoken Malayalam.
