Now Hiring: Bilingual Health Educators

MCWH is currently hiring Bilingual Health Educators. With both casual and part-time (3 days per week) positions available, the Health Educator role is instrumental to improving migrant and refugee women’s access to culturally and linguistically appropriate women’s health education.

We are currently recruiting for health educators with Fluency in English and either: Arabic, Burmese, Karen, Cantonese, Mandarin, Khmer, Dari, Hazaragi, Dinka, Swahili, Hindi, Punjabi, Spanish (Latin America), Thai or Ukrainian.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in community development, health, welfare, or social work;
  • Demonstrated experience communicating and liaising with a wide range of organisations and individuals of varying backgrounds;
  • Proficiency in using online digital platforms such as Zoom and MSTeams;
  • A commitment to, and understanding of, immigrant and refugee women’s health from a feminist perspective;
  • who are able to commence work by 27th August at the latest

MCWH is currently hiring Part-Time bilingual health educators as part of our National SRH Program. We are also hiring Casual bilingual health educators. Position details and application instructions are available below.

Bilingual Health Educator - National SRH Program (Part Time)

The purpose of this Bilingual Health Educator role is to support the implementation of MCWH’s national Health in My Language Program and to conduct sexual and reproductive (SRH) health education sessions with migrant and refugee women in community settings.

This is a fixed-term, part-time role (22.8 hours per week) scheduled to end 30th June 2025

Bilingual Health Educator (Casual)

MCWH’s vision is for migrant and refugee women to be free from all forms of discrimination, to have autonomy over their lives, and experience health equity, well-being and safety in society.

This role is instrumental in improving migrant and refugee women’s access to culturally and linguistically appropriate women’s health education.

This is casual role.
