All proceeds from ticket sales and raffle prizes/silent auction will go to continuing our legacy of keeping migrant women’s health in migrant women’s hands.

Mojo Juju
Formidable. Enigmatic. Genre-defying. Fragile. Ballsy. Ambiguous. Raw.
Mojo Juju has been called many things and yet she is forever hard to define. By her own explanation, Mojo has never felt comfortable with being categorized and is increasingly deliberate in avoiding labels and defying genres. As a result, it is only in experiencing her live shows that one can begin to understand the full breadth of this dynamic artist.
Regardless of genre, whether solo or backed by a full band, it is evident that at the core of Mojo Juju’s songwriting is a raw emotional honesty. It is juxtaposed by a razor sharp wit and a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor and it is carried by her voice, which is often almighty powerful, sometimes heart-achingly vulnerable and always the centerpiece of her work.
Michelle Law
Michelle Law is an award-winning writer and screenwriter who has spoken at TEDx events, writer’s festivals, ABC radio and The Project. Her stories and essays have been widely published and her films have screened nationally at festivals and on the ABC.
Michelle writes for magazines, journals, newspapers, film and television. She is the co-author of the comedy book, Sh*t Asian Mothers Say, and her writing has been featured in publications like Women of Letters and Destroying the Joint, as well as The Sydney Morning Herald, Daily Life, frankie magazine, and the Griffith Review.
As a screenwriter, she has received an Australian Writer’s Guild AWGIE award for her interactive media work, and her first stage play, Single Asian Female, recently toured with La Boite Theatre Company to wide and critical acclaim.
Thando
Thando is in a league of her own and can easily be titled one of Australia’s best vocalists, with tone to her voice that will give you goosebumps and power that will leave you speechless. Audiences can expect the most incredible modern soul and rnb, mixed with raw funk, pop all delivered in her own unique way.
Packing a string of outstanding accomplishments in her career since starting out in 2012, Thando has played in Sol Nation with members of Painters and Dockers, appeared on The Voice Australia, toured the east coast, made her professional theatre debut in Dreamgirls, performed at Bigsound Festival + Strawberry Fields, St Kilda Festival, had a sold out show at Chapel off Chapel, Federation Square to more than 100,000 Melbourians and play the coveted role of Shug Avery in a sold out season of The Color Purple and opened for Maxwell.
