What were you doing in 1978?
I worked as a qualified physiotherapist at the Children hospital in Saigon City Vietnam.

What’s something that you are really proud of?
Being a refugee.

What’s your best memory?
My New Year eve of my childhood.

What’s something you couldn’t be without?
A hot cup of coffee in the early morning.

Can you describe an amazing woman you know?
A woman has resilience and courage to make a different enhancing her life.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone new to Australia, what would it be? Or what has been the biggest challenge of living in Australia so far?
Believe yourself, determination, work hard and love what you do.

What’s your favourite word in the English language?
Hope.

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a woman from a migrant background?
Language barrier.

Are there any disadvantages of being a woman from an immigrant and refugee background?
My voice is not heard.

For you, what’s the best thing about being a woman from a migrant background?
See things in different perceptions.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
NO war.

If you could meet the Prime Minister tomorrow. What would like to tell him?
You have done a good job. But you could do greater if you put your feet in the citizen’s shoes
