Health Educator Support Officer
Eman Al-Dasuqi is a prominent advocate for the empowerment of migrant and refugee women. Her work at the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health focuses on supporting the capacity building and professional development of bilingual health educators on a state and national level.
She finds joy and satisfaction in channelling her work experiences in radio production, arts management, journalism, and cultural competence training in every work activity she performs.
As a facilitator and public speaker, Eman frequently participates in panels and appears on various podcasts and Australian radio shows. She champions the empowerment of migrant women through meaningful engagement, open dialogue, and the sharing of leadership skills, emphasizing the importance of participation, solidarity, and strong advocacy.
Eman is committed to fostering connections that celebrate diversity and enhance belonging within culturally rich communities. Outside of her advocacy work, she enjoys creating memories with her son, exploring global south feminism, and experimenting with different coffee blends.
