Lockdowns may be over but loneliness lingers

While the pandemic was an extreme experience for many in the community, for others it simply added another layer to what was an already isolated life. And for some the isolation hasn’t simply stopped with the containment of the COVID-19 virus.

MCWH’s bilingual health educator, Felicia Belagia, spoke with SBS News about the importance of providing accessible and culturally appropriate in-language health information during COVID-19, especially for those experiencing heightened isolation as a result of the pandemic.
